Your Guide to New Year's Eve at NYC's Breweries
Cheers, friends! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic year and are looking forward to 2023. Since this weekend is a massive holiday, most breweries have limited hours so today’s edition will highlight the next big event weekend- New Year’s Eve! What better way to welcome a fresh new year than with fresh from the source beers? So here are all the brewery events this New Year’s Eve - Some free, some ticketed so please be mindful. And make sure to tip your bartenders well!
Also note: next week we will be on break, but will update this post with additional NYE events if any new ones come up between now and 12/30.
Non-Ticketed NYE Events
Fifth Hammer will host a New Year’s Eve with a toast & jam buffet, midnight keg drop & toast, live music and the Times Square celebration on the big screen. Tasting room opens at 12 pm with the party usually ramping up around 8 pm. No cover/no tickets necessary & no reservations.
Alewife is open for NYE with a balloon drop, midnight toast and party favors. Reserve a table here.
Grimm is hosting a low-key NYE with Happy Bull Pizza til 1am. No tickets or reservations.

Three’s Brewing - Gowanus location celebrates with DJ Henry James, pitcher specials and a midnight toast. Free RSVP here.
Ticketed NYE Events
Coney Island Brewing will ring in 2023 with a drag show + party. Admission includes two drag shows (9:30 and 10:30), hot buffet, one drink and a midnight toast. Tickets $75 here.
Strong Rope - Red Hook location is hosting their first-ever, soon-to-be-traditional, New Year's Eve Brewery Bash on Saturday, December 31st, 9pm-1am. The theme is Rock-IN, so put on your favorite Throwback Style or Brand New Fit to represent how you like to Jam. Enjoy an open beer bar, midnight champagne toast, late night nosh from the Stuf'd Truck and, of course, dance jams. Tickets are $125. Get yours now!
TALEA - NYE Future’s So Bright Dance Party from 9pm-1am at the Williamsburg taproom. $50 tickets get you entry and a midnight toast, plus access to Tarot Readings, a Photo Booth, and Mighty Quinns BBQ PopUp. Tickets here!
Other Half - Domino Park location NYE Party inclused an open bar and food all night (special beer releases, cider, wine and specialty cocktails, oysters, pizza and more) plus a champagne toast at midnight! They’ll have a DJ spinning all night so you can dance your way into 2023 while you sip and snack. Tickets are $150 here.
Greenpoint Beer & Ale - Ring in the new year with a beer & wine package for $30 from 10pm to 12am.
Circa Brewing hosts an Infamous New Year's Eve Party with $59 NYE All-You-Can-Drink from 9pm - 1am!. The evening includes a live DJ, Champagne Toast, and of course, the Ball Drop on Circa’s XXL Projector Screens.
LIC Beer Project will host an open bar from 8pm - 11:30pm, keg drop and midnight champagne toast. Cheeseboards from Astoria Bier and Cheese will be available. Tickets are $45 here.
Finback Brooklyn is hosting a 4 hour open bar from 9pm - 1am including a champagne toast and special bottle pours from the cellar. Tickets are $97 here.
Brooklyn Brewery will host an open bar dance party from 9pm - 1am. The open bar will feature the entire tap list with a selection of rare barrel-aged "Ghost Bottle" beers selected by Brewmaster Garrett Oliver as well as a beer/champagne midnight countdown toast for all guests in attendance. New Year’s Day Plunge and Party!
Coney Island Polar Bear Plunge + Party- Jan 1, 2023.
