Cheers and welcome back after a bit of holiday hiatus. Whew do we have a lot to cover! Expect a Gift Guide on Friday in time for last minute local shopping and a New Years Eve Guide early next week. For today, it’s all about this week’s releases and events, including where to watch the World Cup finals!
Brewery Events
WORLD CUP WEEKEND: Watch the World Cup finals at any of these breweries that will be opening at 10am Saturday and Sunday for the matches: Circa, Alewife, Keg & Lantern, Torch and Crown, Fifth Hammer, Greenpoint Beer and Ale Co, and Endless Life.
NOW through the season: Enjoy Beer and Cookie pairing flights at the Big aLICe taproom in Queens and barrel room in Industry City this holiday season. Pairings include:

Saturday 12/17
Interboro: Stop by the tap room to celebrate the release of Sentimental IPA, named for Mr. Lee Fields’ newest album ‘Sentimental Fool’. From 5pm on, groove to the tunes and drink up this delicious brew. It’ll be good for the soul!
Strong Rope is celebrating the 7th Anniversary of their Gowanus Taproom with an UGLY SWEATER COOKIE PARTY from 6-9pm!

Evil Twin: GREENHOUSE NZ KOLSCH CONDITIONED ON AMERICAN OAK FOUDRE (5%) // Kolsch dry-hopped with Nelson and conditioned on American Oak foudre.
- CREME DE LA CREME DE LA CREME (10%) // Oat Cream TIPA dry hopped with Citra, Citra Cryo, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, and Galaxy boasting notes of melon, orange, passion fruit and lychee. Collab with Other Half
- TO THE MILKY WAY & BACK XIII (7%) // Milkshake IPA with holiday-forward flavors of cranberry, tangerine, pineapple and vanilla. Contains milk sugar.
- SOUTHERN FRUCTUS DANICA (6%) // Sour Ale inspired by red sangria, brewed with red wine grapes, lemon, orange, apple and raspberry. Collab with Mortalis and Fidens.

Grimm - ELECTRIC MAINLINE (7.2%) // West Coast IPA including additions of Mosaic, Citra, Columbus, and Simcoe, giving bright and juicy flavors of pink lemonade, peach fuzz, strawberry, tangerine, and mango.
Interboro - WAX CATZ (4%) // (Taproom Exclusive) Sour Ale with Passion Fruit, Guava and Mango. Brewed in collaboration with KCBC, in celebration of Bierwax’s 5th anniversary.
KCBC - EYE OF THE FATES (14.5%) // Barrel Aged Imperial Stout w/ Cacao Nibs, Coffee, Banana & Maple. Massive notes of fudgy brownie batter and boozy espresso followed by charred wood, a light layer of syrup-drenched caramelized-banana pancakes and even more dark chocolate on the finish. Contains lactose.
- IL REGALO (4.6%) //Italian Style Pilsner brewed with a blend of Eraclea barley from the Adriatic Coast & traditional German pilsner malt. Hopped in the kettle with German-grown Tettnang and Hallertau Blanc hops, and then lightly dry hopped with more of the same. Notes of white grape, herbal spice, and smooth malt.
- STAR FACE (8%) //DDH Double IPA brewed with a planet-killer-sized-asteroid’s worth of Citra, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin and Strata hops. Tastes of candied peaches, piña coladas, mango bango, and a whole lotta OJ.
Finback - MASS ORNAMENT (9%) //Double IPA with Phantasm. Dry-hopped with Lotus, El Dorado, Idaho 7, Idaho 7 Cryo. Collab with Root and Branch.
- POLYMORPHIC (7.5%) //IPA dry-hopped with Nelson & Rakau.
Threes Brewing -TINY MONTGOMERY WINTER SEASONAL ENGLISH BITTER (3.8%) //Winter ESB that's darker and maltier than the autumnal counterpart. Expect blackberry jam and buckwheat honey notes, with a slightly malty, dark, and softly rounded character.
- TYRANNY OF MIRRORS (5.5%) //West Coast Pale Ale with notes of baby pine and a citrus smorgasbord.
Other Half - DDH lACEd IN SPACE (8.5%) // Imperial IPA double dry hopped with more Citra and Galaxy to trash your tastebuds.
- THE DAYDREAMIEST (10.5%) // Imperial Oat Cream IPA mashup of OH's favorite 3 Daydream Hops: Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy. Contains milk sugar.
- DDH CREAM OF BROCCOLI (7.9%) // Imperial Oat Cream IPA version of Broccoli with Cascade, Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, and Simcoe. It has plenty of oats and a hint of milk sugar to make it super smooth and a little creamy.
- DDH DAYDREAM IN GREEN (8.1%) // Imperial Oat Cream IPA hopped with Citra, Motueka and Wai-iti plenty of pillowy oats and a touch of milk sugar.
- MOSAIC DREAM (6.0%) // IPA solely hopped with Mosaic.
Kills Boro - LINZER TART (6.2%) // Dessert Sour brewed with graham crackers, vanilla bean, raspberry, and cinnamon.
- MOZZARELLA (4.5%) // Italian American Pilsner dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra. Banger hops with a clean, bright finish. Brewed with German Pilsner Malt. Kettle hopped with Hallertau Magnum, Tettnang, Perle, and Saphir.
Singlecut - HEAVY BOOTS OF LEAD (11%) // '22 Imperial Stout with Vanilla Bean and Cacao, popping with aromas of warm dark sugar, fresh pulled espresso, rich vanilla, dark chocolate, and wrapped up with a deep graininess and a finish that's made more for a snifter than a shake tin- off dry with a long coco linger.
- FULL STACK (8.2%) // IIPA with fresh cut pineapple, creamy pineapple sorbet, a lick of tangerine oil, subtle fir, sweet candied orange peel, and a touch of kiwi juice, all a top an immensely balanced malt bill and a long linger of limeade.
Rockaway - FUZZ LITEYEAR (4.5%) // Weightless Lager made incredibly crisp with flaked corn for gratify defying light body. Lightly hopped with Hallertau, a classic German Noble hop.
Fifth Hammer - MOCHA GETAWAY (9.5%) // Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla & Coffee.
18th Ward - FUTURE MEMORY (4.9%) // American IPA packed with wheat and oats and hopped with Barb Rouge and Comet hops for grapefruit, orange oil, and berry on the nose with light tropical fruit undertones.
Five Boroughs - GRIDLOCK (6.5%) // Hazy IPA born in and inspired by NYC.
